Marketing and Sales Strategy

The Realization of America's Marine Highway

At the outset, AFL will focus on creating strategic alliances with multinational shipping conglomerates who wish to deliver their container cargos via water to additional end points more effectively and efficiently.

AFL will also target U.S. importers and exporters who rely on the worldwide seaborne container network to move their goods around the globe.

Further, AFL will negotiate with large door-to-door American shipping companies to provide services along each of AFL’s routes.

Finally, AFL will offer seamless waterborne access to the United States government to move military cargo and aid supplies to and from strategic locations along the USEC and USGC.

"The challenges faced by our nation’s transportation planners and policymakers involve making better use of existing infrastructure, addressing the need for more capacity in our freight corridors, and reducing the environmental impacts of transportation.
In recent years, it has become increasingly evident that the Nation's existing road and rail infrastructure cannot adequately meet our future transportation needs. Land based infrastructure expansion opportunities are limited in many critical bottleneck areas due to geography or very high right-of-way acquisition costs."
